A few years ago babies in commercials were extremely popular. It all started with the E Trade babies and then were closely followed by a slew of other baby ads.

The times have now changed and cats have become the new babies. If you take a look at YouTube you’ll see that a cute cat can get you millions of hits. How silly!

I keep telling Lauren that we need to use this information to our benefit and put my new feline brother to good use. He’s only 4 months old but since day one he has been good for a laugh. I’ve never known a cat tolike water yet Mochi, that’s his name, wants to drink out of the toilet and paddle in our water bowl. What has the world come to?

So the next time you are watching TV, pay attention to the cat ads. You’ll find them in cell phone ads all the way to Ikea commercials. Don’t be mistaken though, dogs have not had their day, we’re just taking a “cat” nap.
